Must also be able to perform troubleshooting • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. SALARY RANGE The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $25.00 and $32.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. You will mix/maintain plating baths and conduct bath calculations, preparations, and adjustments. Will work with laboratory equipment daily and will be expected to troubleshoot and repair minor equipment issues. *This position is for night shift on AWS shift 7pm-7:30am* Shift available: Sunday-Tuesday, alternating Saturday ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor chemical consumption of assigned tooling/areas and replenish as needed. Remove chemical waste and empty containers from equipment for proper disposal. Following documented procedures, will be required to select, measure, dispense, mix and deliver materials to the manufacturing line. Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation for tests, research, and process control. Test and analyze products to determine strength, stability, purity, chemical content, and other characteristics. Document results of tests, analyses, and displays in SPC charts. Once trained, will be expected to work independently with little oversight or direction. Qualifications REQUIRED: Candidate must be flexible to work a 12-hour AWS Shift and overtime, as required by the team. Significant amount of standing, walking, carrying, and lifting. Ability to lift 10 pounds often and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Use of personal protective equipment, such as gloves, aprons and eye protection when executing certain tasks is required, as well as working in a cleanroom environment where production tools are located. When in the cleanroom, full gown including hood, mask, booties, bunny suit, etc must be worn. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, careful precision, and the ability to handle a variety of sensitive/hazardous materials safely. Must have strong written/oral communication skills and be technically competent. Willingness to commit to a substantial training process. You must remain alert throughout your entire shift, monitoring pool activities to enforce all safety guidelines. You will need a lifeguard and first aid/CPR certification and may need a pre-employment physical and skills test. You should be someone who is a rule follower with knowledge of rescue procedures and emergency medical procedures. As a lifeguard you will report to the Deck Supervisor or Site Supervisor during shifts and provide support throughout the pool deck as needed. We have a fun and rewarding work environment with a great atmosphere for someone who loves safety and being around water. We offer paid training. Starting wage is negotiable with prior experience. This position will be primarily office work. Responsibilities for this position would include but not limited to: Prepare construction drawings and supporting documents applying PG&E Electric standards, engineering standards and guidelines using AutoCAD and/or Civil3D. Prepare job instructions and materials lists for engineered projects using Microsoft Excel and or PG&E Estimating tools (EES). Prepare pulling calculations, voltage drop and flicker calculations, and pole loading calculations for engineered projects using Microsoft Excel and or PG&E Estimating tools. Prepare field note packages and perform pole fielding for overhead line work using various field tools (Range finder, measuring sticks, measuring wheels). Use engineering judgment to perform duties; knows when to ask questions, seek assistance and perform independent research. Works and interfaces with various entities, both governmental and private, to address and coordinate required documentation, permits, project background and other required protocol for design and construction purposes. Performs technical evaluation, which includes field investigation and exploring the constructability and practicality of the design with various stakeholders to arrive at an optimum and realistic design. Contribute to effective customer relations by providing support as requested from managers and by communicating with customers in an effective manner. Manage personal time allotted to various tasks in order to meet obligations of projects, including budget, quality and schedule. Experience in design and estimating for PG&E electric distribution facilities is required. Minimum Qualifications: PG&E Qualified Applicant Designer for Electric Or 3+ years of applicant design experience and willing to take and pass the exam within 6 months of hire. Bonus points for experience in design for PG&E gas Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Computer Skills: knowledge and ability to use basic office equipment and computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Web Browsing Tools.
