As a UX Researcher you will be responsible for conducting research, scheduling and managing research projects and delivering actionable insights for a variety of digital financial projects. In a nutshell, we want to out-distance the competition and vastly improve any customer tool, application, and interface we touch. A successful candidate will be able to work closely with the overall research team, understand research and deliverable needs, provide compelling analysis with actionable recommendations, and navigate cultural nuances, as well as integrate seamlessly with the GCT team.

Qualifications:
Must Have's:
1) Bachelor's Degree in UX-related field of study or Communications or Business equivalent
1-2 years of UX research experience with an emphasis on generating well thought out, thorough, yet concise deliverables with actionable recommendations
2) Working knowledge of user experience research tools and techniques (e.g. expert reviews, usability testing, benchmarking, competitive/comparative analysis, rapid iterative testing, etc.), and knowing the strengths and weaknesses of each.
3) Independently scope and plan a research program (can include multiple projects with multiple related studies), consulting with relevant stakeholders and team members.
4) Ability to connect research findings from multiple projects/sources and provide insights on a higher order
5) Confidently apply a range of frameworks to synthesize and solve research problems
6) Strong understanding of user interface design practices and principles a must, better still if you can demonstrate experience relating to research
7) Strong communication, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills required. Your ability to demonstrate success in these areas should quickly become obvious.
8) Ability to communicate research results, graphically depict data orally and in writing.

The Chemistry Department is known as a leader in research at UNT. Our faculty and graduate students successfully compete for research funds from both public and private sources (see below), publish their groundbreaking research in top scientific journals, and are frequently highlighted and interviewed in the media.

* Works closely with Program Managers to coordinate and support efforts related to our portfolio of community-engaged research studies and projects.
* Provides professional development and support for Extension professionals, school professionals, and volunteers.
* Develops online tools, including Qualtrics and/or REDCap survey tools, to collect qualitative and quantitative data.
* Collaborates with community partners to ensure successful implementation of research projects.
* Composes research articles for publication.
* Develops state and national grants for funding.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
* Ph.D. in related field (e.g., public health, nutrition, clinical research, or other related fields).
* Candidates with ABD or all requirements met but diploma pending may be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience:
* Experience conducting human subjects' research.
* Experience with community-engaged research and evaluation projects, specifically data collection and/or experience with behavioral implementation of intervention studies.
* Experience developing and utilizing online survey tools and software (Qualtrics, REDCap).
* Experience supporting and delivering interventions and related research studies in the following areas: populations; health; food systems; community-based health behavior interventions; and/or the integration of technology into community outreach and research.
* Experience working with individuals and communities.

Role Overview
We are currently looking to recruit a Research Associate to work within our Research Team, actively identifying and reviewing M&A opportunities for our client base. This role will be based in Dallas within our hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Utilizing internal tools, databases and external applications to structure profiled company searches in a timely manner
Qualifying, sorting and organizing data enabling ease of use and to facilitate decision-making
Assessing the validity of data/information sourced in conjunction with client requirements
Undertaking research on target companies that match clients search scope
Working closely with colleagues across London, Toronto, Bangalore, and Singapore on the daily execution of project and client deliverables
Participating in client updates, becoming a subject matter expert on project outcomes and market insight to provide the client with added color and context
Transforming, improving, and integrating data depending on the business requirements
Identifying optimization improvements across workflows, processes, systems, or content/data issues and proposing solutions to solve and/or correct them
Qualifications & Experience
Undergraduate degree with a track record of strong academic performance
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
High EQ with a strong understanding of the requirements of fast-moving markets and companies
Experience using data information providers will be beneficial (for e.g. S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, BvD, and other data aggregation programs/ information provider's databases.)
Experience working to and meeting consistent deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills; including presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately to influence others
Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment
Resilient in overcoming objections with a tenacious and determined attitude when faced with barriers or obstacles
1-2 years of professional experience with data analysis preferred
Strong interest in M&A and private equity
