HETI has a great opportunity for a Senior Geologist/Senior Environmental Scientist/Senior Engineer with 10+ years experience in the environmental field.
This role will be responsible for providing technical and business skills and contribute to advanced solutions in the environmental, chemical, commercial, manufacturing, government, energy, financial, insurance, and/or legal sectors. This job is 100% remote.
The candidate should have experience managing consulting assignments, must work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, is expected to be proficient in the analysis and communication of information, and must be able to work cooperatively with agencies, organizations, and individuals to guide decision-making. The successful candidate is also expected to be proficient in all facets of project management. He/she must demonstrate collaboration with colleagues throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Client Management & Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and outcomes.
Collaborate with project teams, including environmental engineers, geologists, and technicians.
Communicate complex technical information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
Interact and coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals, permits, and closure documentation.
Prepare and submit comprehensive reports, including site investigation reports, risk assessment reports, remedial action plans, progress reports, and closure reports.
Be current and continue to be current on environmental regulations and guidelines.
Remediation Planning/Implementation:
Develop and implement effective remediation plans based on the findings of site investigations and risk assessments.
Design and oversee the implementation of remediation strategies, which may include excavation, soil vapor extraction, groundwater treatment, in-situ bioremediation, or other appropriate methods.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and permits during the remediation process.
Site Assessments:
Manage/conduct comprehensive site investigations to identify potential sources of contamination, evaluate risks, and develop appropriate remediation strategies.
Collect soil, groundwater, and other environmental samples and analyze them in accordance with standard protocols and regulations.
Perform data interpretation, risk assessment, andmodeling to determine the extent and nature of contamination and its potential impact on human health and the environment.
Quality Control:
Implement quality control and assurance measures to ensure accurate and reliable data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews of project activities to verify compliance with project plans and regulations.
Identify and address any deviations or discrepancies in project execution promptly.
The Ideal Candidate should have:
Current PE or PG license
Bachelors Degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field.
10+ years experience conducting site investigations remediation and third party evaluations
Solid understanding of environmental regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to contaminated site cleanup.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams.

The Director/Senior Director, Clinical Scientist reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer and plans, implements, and manages assigned clinical research studies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure trial integrity and success. The Clinical Scientist provides strategic input and development support for clinical plans, evaluating and interpreting clinical data reviewing and authoring study-related documents, monitoring patient data and data collection status, and delivering protocol-related training to CROs and clinical trial sites. The Clinical Scientist provides support for preparation of regulatory submissions necessary for the initiation of clinical studies. This position is a key cross-functional team member contributing to the design and execution of the company's clinical trials.
Essential job functions and duties
Support the creation of the clinical development plan in partnership with cross- functional team members as well as KOLs and CROs.
Author, manage, and review study materials for competent authorities' submissions; gain insights from clinical and scientific experts (e.g. protocol, regulatory documents, study report, safety review and communication).
Analyze and interpret clinical trial data, collaborating with clinical operations to conduct data review.
Troubleshoot internal and external conflicts to ensure trial integrity and success.
Develop and present protocol training for CROs and trial sites.
Engage with trial sites and CROs on an on-going basis to monitor subject data and data collection status, ensure adherence to protocol, and evaluate consistency of data.
Maintain knowledge of the therapeutic area, current medical practice, and pharmaceutical regulations to help ensure best practices.
Establish excellent communication and collaboration with the cross-functional partners within the company and outside of the company.
Deliver timely, high-quality clinical study data, working in concert with external and internal partners.
Collaborate with clinical operations to identify, recruit, qualify, manage, and maintain relations with clinical trial sites, including collaborating with Principal Investigators to prioritize enrollment and ensure timely and high-quality execution of clinical studies.
Support clinical operations in the selection, contracting, and oversight of CROs and vendors in assigned projects.
Work closely with clinical department team members and other stakeholders to develop and drive patient accrual strategy to meet appropriate corporate timelines.
In assigned projects, lead or assist in writing, reviewing, and/or approving clinical project deliverables such as scope definition documents, investigational product labeling/kitting, Pharmacy Manuals, informed consent, IRB/EC and HA submissions/approvals, site activations, monitoring plan and tools, CRF's, DMP edit checks, safety plan, Safety Management Team and DMC charter, close-out plans, inspection readiness plans, and CSRs.
Lead the development of study presentations, handouts, and coordination of Investigator Meetings, Advisory Boards, Study Monitoring boards.
Lead in writing publications and scientific presentations.
Perform other responsibilities as required by business needs.
Minimum required qualifications
Advanced degree in life sciences/ healthcare (or clinically relevant degree) is required. Master's, PharmD, MPharm, PhD, MBBS, BDS, MD strongly preferred.
Minimum 10 years (director) or 12 years (Senior director) of experience with 5+ years as a Clinical Scientist or comparable role.
Solid knowledge of set-up, organization and execution of global clinical studies in a pharmaceutical company or contract research organization (CRO), or comparable experience within academic research institution.
Experience in a scientific discipline with clinical drug development experience and strategic planning specifically in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries is preferred; however, other relevant experiences and skills may be considered.
Experience in oncology is preferred, radiopharmaceutical experience is a plus.

What you will do

In this vital role you will help coordinate and lead the application of different imaging strategies to support our portfolio of innovative oncology drug candidates. You will be expected to work with cross functional teams to design, execute and analyze imaging studies.
Responsibilities:
Lead, design and implement multi-modality imaging measures as endpoints for oncology clinical trials.
Support several fast track and advanced clinical programs throughout the different development stages including FIH, registrational and patient impact expansion studies and develop a deep understanding of team/therapeutic strategy/needs.
Work closely with precision medicine, clinical development, statistics and clinical operation leads to formulate appropriate imaging biomarker strategies.
Support central review and adjudication strategies led by imaging vendor

Provide subject matter expertise with regards to response criteria (RECIST, PCWG3, Lugano, RANO-BM etc.), their incorporation in different clinical settings and troubleshooting site issues which may impact them.

Develop and deliver training to study teams on imaging response criteria.

Job Description
The Environmental Monitoring Technician performs environmental monitoring and routine microbiological testing within a GMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization.
• Performs routine and non-routine Environmental Monitoring (EM) such as water sampling, non-viable particulates, viable air, viable surfaces, and gas testing in cleanroom environments within the Manufacturing area at Client’s site, as per applicable standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Perform environmental monitoring for aseptic filling processes according to SOP.
• Operate monitoring equipment that includes but is not limited to Laser Particle Counter, Viable Air Sampler, Microscope, MilliFlex OasisTest System, Conductivity meter, pH meter and TOC analyzer.
• Read EM (Environmental Monitoring) data and document results on relevant forms.
• Perform trending and generate trending charts for EM data.
• Participate in validation/verification of controlled environments such as cleanroom, and gowning qualification.
• Perform Quality Control testing such as media and organism qualification as per applicable procedures.
• Assist in USP standard testing including but not limited to water sampling, incubation of samples, and enumeration.
• In cooperation with the Laboratory Manager, responsible for the preventative maintenance of critical EM equipment.
• Monitor test status and conditions as described in Work Instructions and SOPs.
• Record test results accurately and legibly on all documents.
• Technical report writing including text, tables, graphs, and diagrams.
• Report any deviations and/or nonconformities to Management as well as provide possible preventive and corrective measures to prevent future deviations and non-conformities.
• Assist with OOS, NI, CAPA, and Change Control processes in response to Laboratory issues.
• Follow and perform process qualifications and validations for procedures and/or equipment.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of biotech industry experience within a GMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization.
Licensed driver with good driving record
Ability to apply knowledge of good manufacturing practices and good laboratory practices daily.
The understanding and ability to perform aseptic and relevant microbiological techniques such as microbial isolation, streak plate and gram staining.
Ability to follow gowning practices for cleanroom environments.
Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university, preferably in Microbiology or a relevant life sciences discipline.
2+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The projects that an Environmental Scientist works on will include low to high complexity, multi-media, multi-contaminant remediations. The Role:
