What You'll Do You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand customer problems and develop novel solutions. You will work alongside with other scientists and engineers to develop these solutions into products on our platform that will benefit our growing customer base. The ideal candidate is a hands-on applied scientist who is excited to implement and deploy new models via scalable software solutions that drive value for customers. ResponsibilitiesImplement innovative solutions that empower our customers to answer important business questions and drive decision-making. Own building solutions, models, and products while working cross-functionally with scientists and engineers to ingest customer data and deploy models and tools that deliver meaningful results on a regular cadence. Job Summary Manufacture products for customers and internal reagents for internal use following detailed protocol instructions under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager/Senior Manufacturing Scientist. Job Responsibilities Prepares products and internal reagents such as buffers, salt solutions, resuspensions, and master mixes using aseptic technique in an ISO/GMP environment. Overexpression and harvesting of pellets containing protein of interest using aseptic technique. Performs protein purification and cell culture while following detailed Standard Operating Procedures. Manually aliquot, cap, and label product kit components as needed. Recordkeeping of manufacturing documentation and general laboratory maintenance. As a Chemical Subject Matter Expert, conducts applied research on specific intelligence issues pertaining to the WMD threats to US and allied nations; provides written input to reports and briefings; assists with answering requests for information (RFI); assists in research and analytical entries related to WMD; all for dissemination to Agency leadership and its personnel, Combatant Commands, and the Intelligence Community (IC). You will serve as an all-source counter-proliferation intelligence analyst with specialized experience in chemical warfare and defense whose primary responsibility will be informing DTRA activities through structured research using multiple sources and analytic tool suites. You will deliver products that increase the client's situational understanding and comprehension of chemical WMD and improvised threats, and associated counter-proliferation networks.
