About the position:
AC Pro is looking for an individual to lead Fabrication Department as defined by Operations Manager or General Manager. Openly communicate and work with department supervisors such as Customer Service and Pulling Teams to ensure production times aid in the staging and loading of vehicles and meet delivery deadlines. Aid in increasing fabrication accuracy for customer satisfaction. Be able to flex to meet demand of peak season and industry fluctuation norms based on builder timelines. Ensure workstation and work area is clean, neat, and organized, tour ready at all times. This position requires a knowledge of welding or sheet metal fabrication.

Responsibilities:
Enforcing all safety policies and lead by example.
Lead by example; show professionalism on all occasions. Work with office staff as needed.
Provide and oversee training of new associates and temporary workforce as needed.
Oversee and hold associates accountable for schedules and time clocking's, including break and meal periods.
Perform annual associate appraisals.
Perform duties as working level leader to involve fabrication and bagging of make items.
Work in tandem with manufacturing and customer service to achieve desired results.
Minimize overtime by flexing seasonal labor and general staffing as needed.
Assign and monitor fair workload among associates.

Required Qualifications:
Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work in timely manner.
Ability to utilize hand trucks, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within warehouse facilities.
Ability to follow specific verbal and written instructions.
Possess a working knowledge of lean manufacturing preferred.
Work overtime as required by business needs.
Perform job tasks using specific safety tools and actions as provided in training.
Maintain a high percentage of accuracy and attention to detail.
Be fluent in the use of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Must be able to adapt to use of Eclipse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Opportunity:
Essential Functions
Support the Manufacturing Engineering team through the management of various projects.
Coordinate repairs of Maintenance Machinery impacting productions
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations.
Assist in conducting data analysis and developing recommendations for process improvement.
Observe and document daily production scrap

Length of Assignment 8-10 Weeks, Monday to Friday,40 hours, Onsite, Must be available for full-time work through October with the possibility of extension depending upon project timeline.
