Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Member in good standing of the California state bar, either as a licensed attorney or California Registered In-House Counsel. 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a significant focus on corporate compliance and privacy within the tech industry. Experience working in or advising private technology companies. In-depth knowledge of global privacy statutes and regulations (including GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA) and US corporate compliance regulations. Strong understanding of technology and data security issues relevant to the tech industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal issues to non-legal stakeholders. An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to orient and navigate in an unstructured environment.
