The Math Center is also an open computer lab where students can come to work on their homework assignments both individually and in a group setting. The Math Center is generally open for student use Monday through Thursday from 8am to 9pm and Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Fire exits, fire drills, severe storm and tornado-warning procedures should be posted in each room. Familiarize yourself with them. Be consistent and emphasize the positive. Maintain a clear, pleasant voice. Leave detailed records of student behavior, both good and bad. Contact the building principal should a situation arise. Maintain a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene. Dress for success. Business casual attire is appropriate. T-shirts, and shorts should not be worn. Use appropriate language. Be aware of your teacher/student relationship and avoid physical contact, comments, gestures and conversations which violate the relationship. Supervision of students is a priority in the district. Substitutes who are responsible for supervising students must concentrate on that task at all times. Substitutes shall not use communication devices when they are responsible for supervising students. Leave a written report for the teacher in the sub folder to be returned to the office.
