We are seeking an ambitious and adaptable Part-Time Workers' Compensation Attorney with deposition experience, exceptional writing skills, strong research abilities, and the interpersonal acumen to work closely with professional athletes, ranging from those still who recently retired from the field to those who last played in the 1960s. Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of workers compensation matters, encompassing all stages from intake to resolution. Handle daily administrative responsibilities, including reviewing correspondence and preparing pre-trial conference statements and pre-litigation briefings. Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide timely status updates. Develop and implement case strategies tailored to each clients situation. Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and settlement conferences (in-person or remotely). Negotiate settlements in the best interest of clients. Draft legal documents with precision and persuasive legal reasoning. Stay current with the developments in workers compensation law. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Member of California Bar and in good standing. Minimum of three years of workers compensation experience as an attorney (five years preferred). Familiarity with the Workers Compensation Appeals Board rules and procedures. Deposition and court experience required. Flexible work from home options available.

The Pool Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment and efficient aquatic programs for all users. This person will also serve as a source of information for patrons with questions regarding pool programs and hours of operation. The Pool Manager has facility opening and closing responsibilities during the morning, night, and weekend hours. The Pool Manager has supervisory duties over the scheduled guards. This position will ensure a safe and positive experience for all patrons. Basic Function and Responsibilities: · Be visible and available as the first line of problem-solving. · Maintain written and oral communication with other staff members, supervisors, and administrative staff. · Maintain and promote a safe and fun environment for all participants and staff; also provide quality customer service to all patrons. · Read and become familiar with the Wheeling Parks & Rec Pool Handbook to obtain a level of understanding applicable to this position. · Perform procedures as outlined in the pool operator's manual. · Read and understand all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on all chemicals and testing agents. · Know the location and proper use of all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety supplies. · Maintain records of chemicals tests, routine maintenance, and adjustments made. · Perform duties such as pool vacuuming, general cleaning, hosing decks, balancing water chemistry, record keeping, general maintenance, and special projects as needed. · Suggest matters of concern, interest, and safety at in-service training, in the daily log, and to the Parks & Recreation Director or designee · Make phone calls as necessary to arrange for substitutions in emergencies and fill in if available. · Consult with Parks and Recreation Director or designee as needed on matters such as safety, lifeguard job performance, scheduling, and staff relations. · Maintain a clean aquatic environment for all patrons and staff. · Ensure the pool has proper displays, merchandise, and supplies. This 10-month, seasonal position will utilize camera equipment to film varsity football games. The game day films will be used by the coaches for teaching and evaluating purposes. May require the operation of a scissor lift. Job Qualifications: Experience filming athletic contests, preferred. Experience using and operating cameras and production equipment Must be a team player with strong communication skills Must have a general understanding of football, including the rules, run of play, and timeout protocols in order to accurately follow the play and capture quality game film. Have a professional knowledge of camera controls such as zoom, focus, pan, and tilt in addition to knowledge and use of tripods Must represent the University in a professional and respectful manner when interacting with/around teams, officials, coaches, support staff, etc. Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
