Lead supplier engagement initiatives to build capabilities in lean practices, including continuous improvement, standard work, and problem-solving techniques. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate suppliers on lean tools and methodologies, fostering a culture of operational excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction within the supply chain. Act as a liaison between GE Aerospace and suppliers to ensure alignment with FLIGHT DECK principles and strategic objectives. Drive the adoption of lean tools to support supplier development, capacity and capability building. Build supplier relationships and effectively operate as a trusted advisor to key supplier stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations supply chain or related sciences from an accredited university or college Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations and /or Training Willing to travel 50% to 75%. Desired Experience: 10+ years of experience in lean leadership roles facilitating kaizen events for value stream mapping, HK planning, 5S, Daily Management, SMED, TPM, Goal Deployment, Pull System, Standard Work, and Visual Management. Proven experience in lean manufacturing, supplier development, or operational excellence in shop floor and transactional environments, consulting is a plus.
