Following orientation, s/he assumes delegated responsibility which may include (but not be limited to) such tasks as: meeting the hygienic, nutritional, elimination, activity, comfort and safety needs of patients; obtains and reports vitals signs (TPR and BP); performs urine reductions, transports (transfers, discharges) patients; obtains supplies/equipment as necessary from designated departments.
Individualizes patient care using age related concepts based on the unit population assigned for infants (1 month to Age 1) toddlers (1-2 years), preschoolers (3-5 years) school age (6-12 years), adolescents (ages 13-17) and adult patients including early adult (ages 18-35) middle adult (ages 36-65) and older adult (ages 66+) by applying age related concepts...including knowledge of growth and development, safety needs, collection of data, treatments and care typically required. Utilizes age related concepts when communicating with patients and families, maintaining a safe environment, and using medical equipment and supplies.

In this fast-paced role you will direct and provide care in our 28 bed, Inpatient Unit. Under the supervision of an RN, you will assist patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to patients and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Current CNA License for State of Idaho
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to achieve BLS certification within 60 days of employment.
Ability to relate and work effectively with others
Previous experience is preferred
