This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. **Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:** + The Tier II network field technician will support the installation and maintenance of the client LAN/WAN devices. + Respond to and resolve incidents, demonstrate troubleshooting skills and communicate with the team. + Complete assigned tasks within Service Level Objectives/Agreements (SLOs/SLAs). + Draft and implement standard network change requests. + Provide support to Tier III network engineers for incident management and projects (site surveys, TEMS, coordinate and install new equipment). + Perform configuration management functions such as update topology drawings, ensure asset management records are accurate, and conduct inventory. + Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades. Perform such work under minimum supervision. General Duties Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: * The nature of this work is a variety of tasks with only general guidelines as to the instructions, practices and/or procedures in making transfers, line cuts, and cable rearrangements. * Handle and climb ladders and poles, work at heights in boom trucks, enter tunnels, buildings, trenches, crawl spaces, and manholes to place materials. * Work with small hand tools, mechanical equipment, test equipment, color coded and tone identified wires in the connection of wires and cables to other telephone equipment and in connecting cable pairs together.
