This question is about behavioral analyst certifications.
To get BCBA certification, you must complete the education requirements and pass the BCBA exam. To begin with, you need to hold a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology. Education does not stop there, as BCBAs hold graduate degrees.
To become a BCBA, you must complete graduate studies that meet coursework requirements set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Part of this coursework is classroom instruction and includes required supervised fieldwork.
Once you have graduated and meet coursework requirements, you must apply for the exam and pay the fee, which includes a $245 registration fee and $125 each time you take the exam.
After passing the exam, you can apply for state licensure in whichever state you plan on working. Then, you may begin working. Throughout your career, you need to renew your license and certification, which requires continued education.
